Thank You, I Have An Appointment Jan 10th To See

Thank you, I have an appointment Jan 10th to see an kidney/diabetic specialist. I have been hurting in my back ,left side. Quite often if I move the wrong way I get sharp pains in that area , it about brings me to my knees. I take Janumet 50-1000mg twice a day. I have been on this for several years. Could this cause kidney problems. I also have had to have fluids the last 3 visits to the doctors for dehydration. My skin itches awful and I have never had trouble like this unless I was on hydrocodone which I haven't been on in awhile. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank
