Thank You, I Have Been Taking Dilantin For 20 Years

Thank you, I have been taking dilantin for 20 years and have done very well. In March,2015 I had a seizure after being seizure free for 15 years. I was taken to the hospital and my dilantin level was 2.8. The only change in my life is that I started taking alendronate 70mg in Dec., 2014. I also started taking the generic form of dilantin a year ago. Can you please give me some feedback or an explanation as to why my dilantin level dropped so drastically? I also would like to know if alendronate (70mg) can lower my dilantin level? Can the generic form of dilantin be less affective? Thank you.
