Thank You. My Husband Has Been Having Severe Pain In

Thank you. My husband has been having severe pain in both legs. At first, it was only from the knee down, but now it's above the knee as well. He has had ultrasound to determine that there are not blood clots, and he is diabetic. One theory is that it is neuropathy, but it's so widespread. Also, he has been on simvastatin for some years and I know that it's possible to develop rhabdomyolysis. We are at a loss to determine what this is and how to treat it. Can you help?
