The Mucus From My Nose Has Some Blood

Hi doctor , yesterday the mucus from my nose has some blood .And also i would like to ask regarding my nose bridge, it seems like have some accumulated blood inside my nose bridge because there is a dark red line over it. And when i touch it, it doesn t feel pain. Doctor, can i know why is this happening to me? thanks

Hi Sharon,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum,
This seems to be acute sinusitis (infection in the sinuses). You need to do steam inhalation 2-3 times/day, drink plenty of warm water, use saline nasal drops 3-4 times/day and also visit your ENT specialist for a thorough check-up.

Mucus from nose stained with blood usually occurs when you blow the nose very hard. Try to moisten your nose with some oil or normal saline as nasal dryness is one of the causes of frequent minor nasal bleeds. Regarding blood under nasal septum it can be told on examination only.
