Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The roof of my mouth is cover with tiny red pinpricks that are not sore. My tongue is slightly redder than usual. I have nystatin from my doctor, but having had a child with thrush, I do not think this is thrush at all. I really do not like to take medications unnecessarily. I had this same thing about 3-4 months ago. That is when I got the med, but the problem was already waning. I was out of town and had purchased some glyoxide that I had been using. I have COPD and use inhaled steroids. However, in 15 years of use these are my first problems. I am 75 years young.
