Thick Brown Discharge, No Pain. Taking Clomid To Stimulate Ovulation. Is This Normal?
I am taking Clomid to stimultate ovulation, taking it days 6-10 ( i started it one day late). 100 mg. I am on Cycle Day 8. I had a normal period days 1-4, then 2 days nothing, starting yesterday I am having consistent, thick brown discharge every time I wipe. I have no pain, no other concerns. Is this normal on Clomid or an indication my uterine lining is thinning and cause fo rconcern?
Hello,Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. The side effects of clomid ( clomifene) are many but endometriosis breast discomfort may relate to you . Thick brown discharge is not a side effect of clomifene and this mmay be due to , 1 Dysfunctional uterine bleeding or irregular bleeding, 2 pelvic inflammatory disease, 3 endometrium disorder . For confirmation get in ultrasound of genitals including , uterus, ovaries , cervix, and consult a Gynecologist as physical examination helps. Good luck. Dr. HET
