This past sunday our sweet beloved dog attacked my son & I for no apparent reason. He was almost 5. Half pittbull half boxer. He was very protective of our family. We raised him from birth. He was loved, trained & well cared for. He slept with my husband & I. He went nuts after my son reach down to give him a pet & kiss. He went on a wild rage. Hurting me & my son. Many brusies & stitches. Thank God my husband was home at that time. He saved our lives. But he had no choice but to shoot our dog. Now we are all an emotional mess. My son has no remorse over the loss of our dog, I am devestated over the injuries plus the loss of our dog, & my husband is feeling so guilty about killing our dog. Its one complete mess. I know that time will help. Help we are lost & heartbroken.
