This week I am supposed to have my period, although it has only been VERY light brown blood and only at the beginning of my cycle. I am on birth control and I forgot to take the last active pill in my pack. I had sex a week before today so being skeptical, I took a pregnancy test today. It has only been 7 days from the last time I've had sex but both at home tests read negative. I don't know if I might have taken the test too early, or if maybe there was a chemical imbalance from not taking my pill. I have had the brown blood before early in my period, but usually I then get my period later. I have not experienced any bleeding yet other than the brown blood or nothing at all. I still have 3-4 days left of my cycle.
