ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query
Sore throat may be due to throat infection.
The blood vessels in the throat are very delicate and when you cough vigorously and bring out sputum forcibly , these blood vessels rupture resulting in little blood mixed with sputum.
Do not bring out sputum forcibly.
Do warm salt water gargling 4 times a day and drink plenty of water to keep yourself well hydrated.
If the problem persists see a doctor.
regards, Dr Rajkishori
