Throbbing Pain Under Breast, Radiating To Throat, Pain In Left Abdomen. Had Hysterectomy Done Weeks Ago. Hernia?
Last night I started getting a sharp throbbing pain under my right breast that shoots up to My throat. It throbs with a Plus then goes away. This has been occurring all day today. I'm 6 weeks post op from a full hysterectomy and taking 1mg estridal. On top of that I have been having pain in my left abdomen that sharp burning pain if I sit or move a certain way or bend over. Could this be a hernia?
I hardly doubt it is hiatus hernia but it could be acid reflux diseases or pancreatitis (given your history of surgery a couple of weeks ago). The description of your painful episodes seem to me as acid reflux. A doctor can confirm or rule out that only through physical examination. However, in order to confirm or rule out my suspected acute pancreatitis, you will require more laboratory testing and maybe abdominal scan. This needs to be ruled out given the location of pain on left abdominal area. First, you will need to report this to your operating physician. From there, he might determine if it is post-operative complication or you have developed another condition.
Hope this helps
