Thursday Night I Began Having Bad Pain About 4 Inches

Thursday night I began having bad pain about 4 inches below my belly button. I have diverticulosis and have had some diverticulitis attacks. Normally they are on the left side of the same area. The pain decreased on Friday and I thought it was going away. My bowel movements have been off a little. The pain is still there (Sat. evening). Normally I would contact my gastroenologist but it is the weekend. Is there anything I should do?
