My husband has a tight pain deep in his throat. It hurts to breathe. He feels like a piece of food is stuck in his throat, but it is not. It feels like it is burning also. He has a tightness in his chest. His sinuses have been bothering him and it is extremely cold here now.

I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day. Avoid hot, spicy,acidic and heavy meals. You should consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and in case of acid reflux he can advise you to take Proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole. Maintain proper hygiene. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Take tepid sponging if it is severe headache. Maintain proper hygiene and drink plenty of fluids. You should exercise daily. Avoid large meals.
