Tight Throat, Thicker Saliva, No Pain. Earlier Had Dry Cough. Taken Benylin. Worried
Hi
I its been more than 6 months that I've been having a tight throat. I have no pain when I eat or drink, but on the contrary I feel better. my saliva is also a bit thicker. The tight throat is really annoying and it's not going away. I admit that it all started in a period where I was traveling to work in a risky county. however this happens to me even when I'm not stressed 2 weeks ago a had a very dry cough that is not going away, the cough accentuate during night and keeps me awake for few hours. I took benylin and still no result. the cough is very dry with no phlegm or what so ever and i'm worried it could be something serious
hi, by seeing your problem i can tell you one that as it has been so long that you have this problem so you must definitely consult a doctor. The cause may be due to acid reflux caused by GERD or any lump in the neck.If it is gerd you can take treatment for that to get releif from your symptoms. As you are having no pain during swallowing and there is dry cough my guess may be correct in your case i am telling this based on your history at present.thankyou
