Tightness And Pain, Muscle Spasms In Abdomen. Had Gall Bladder Removed. Working In Industry Which Requires Lifting Weight. Suggestions?

hello, I had laparosopic gallbladder (removal) almost 3 weeks, post op. I am having tightness and pain with muscle spasms in my abdomen ecspedcially around my navel. I work in an industry that requires me to lift over 100lbs each day. I was released by my surgeon to return to work as of three days ago. Is this pain just my body readjusting, or should I be concearned?

hello,
Thank you for choosing HCM.Laproscopic surgery is done as it has less side effects and recovery is soon than open surgery. It will take maximum 3 weeks to you to get normal. As you said you are supposed to lift weight that might be one reason for you for the inconvenience but still consulting your surgeon is a better idea to rule out other complications of the surgery.Use some mild muscle relaxants and take rest for sometime may be that might help you.Thank you.
