Tingling, Itching, Swelling, Numbness In Hands. Have Connective Tissue Disease. Problem?
I have been experiencing tingling, itching, swelling and numbness in both hands and all fingers. I also have been diagnosed with connective tissue disease, scoliosis, osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease. The hand problem is new and very uncomfortable. Is this a sign of a new problem. My aunt was diagnosed in her 40s with MS. I am almost 49

The tingling and numbness of hands may be related to cervical spinal nerve root compression due to damage to intervertebral discs which prolapse.Other possible causes would include carpal tunnel syndrome and thoracic outlet syndrome ,the opinion of a Neurologist after a MRI of the spine and brain will help rule out any MS.
