Tingly Feeling In Nose After Having Retina Examination. Possibility Of Any Nerve Damage During Examination?
Shortly after having a retina / vitreous exam I started to notice a tingly feeling in my nose. It feels like my glasses have slid down on my nose when they have not. Could there have been a nerve damaged during the retina exam which could cause this?
Hello Retinal examination is not related to tingy sensation feeling in the nose. The retina consists of nerve fibres which form the optic nerve. Optic nerve supplies only the eyes and from retinal examination no nerve can be damaged. Hence the symptom does not have any relation with retinal examination. If the symptom persist do consult ENT doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
