Tiny Bumps On Lip Going From Cracked Corners Of Mouth On Both Sides. No Help From Carmex. Any Suggestions?
Hi, I noticed that I started to feel like I was getting a cold sore but it was on both corners of my mouth.. I started using Carmex and it never got better. A day or two later it felt like it was starting to crack on the corners of my lips..(of course I googled it at it came up as angular Cheilitis).. But it never cracked... And now I notice tiny tiny tiny bumps on my top lip going from the corners of my mouth to maybe a quarter of the way on my top lip on both sides. I don't have insurance or money to go to a Doctor.. What could this be and how do I fix it?
It is associated with stress, sun exposure, lowered immunity state etc.
Avoid sun exposure as far as possible.Stay relaxed.
Start taking any multivitamin to boost up immunity. You can apply antibiotic cream like fucidic acid over affected area.
For acute infections you need to take oral acyclovir tablets ,but they are available on prescription.
So my suggestion is just try above measures first and in case you still have recurrent infection then better to consult a doctor.Take care.
