Hi. I noticed two tiny whitish spots under my nipple (on my nipple, but not where milk comes out). I am breastfeeding a toddler . These don t hurt at all, but I want to know what they might be. They were most noticable in the bathtub when my skin was more moist. They are just slightly raised. I don t think they could be milk cysts because it s not where the milk comes out. (but on nipple, not areola)
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
I think what you are experiencing are just prominent openings of the sweat glands. There is nothing that you need to do about it and they will not cause any harm to you or your child. Additionally, continue feeding your child. However, I hope you have started other food for your child as well. A toddler will typically need to eat everything his/her parents are eating. You would however need to break the food up into small, bite sized pieces.
Hope this helps.
Regards
