Toddler With Red Rashes On Arms And Legs, Has A Green Snotty Nose. Cause For Rashes?

My two year old has a red rash on her arms, legs, and bottom. The rash is hot to the touch! She has been very clingy and has done a lot of crying! She told me her head hurt but I m not sure if that has anything to do with it. She has also had a very green snotty nose for weeks. She has not eaten anything out of the ordinary nor have we changed any soaps for detergents

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
She has a viral rash.
Give her a mild antiallergic syrup and apply calamine menthol lotion to the rash for five days.
Give her nasal decongestants ,and if she has foul smelling discharge through the nose then give her some antibiotics for sinusitis
Consult your doctor if the problem persists.
If you have any further queries you are free to consult me.
Hope this answers your query.
Wishing a speedy recovery.
Have a nice day.
