Tongue Feels Heavy, Pronunciation Issues. Why Would This Happen?

I am a 19 years old male. I'm not an English native speaker. Sometimes i really feel my tongue heavy and i have problems pronouncing some words correctly in the American accent especially letters R and L. I have a good language and vocabulary. It is really frustrating not to be able to communicate properly with native speakers. Can you help figure this problem out?

Thanks in advance.
