Tonsil, Diagnosed Of Bronchitis, Found Sinusitis And Copd In Lungs. Treatment?
my name is rajkumar i got tounsil problem in the month of august but was not detected and got diagonosed of bronchitis till month of january i was detected as bronchitis in lungs in x ray i went dr nagpal in jaipur he made a xray on 4th april 2013 and found sinusitis and copd in lungs.i was smoker.now i left smoking but when going to perform my morning duty i have problem and i feel that i dont allow motion without cigarette.i want to have cure it please suggest me.
Hi, Thanks for visiting HCM. I went through your problem and came to the conclusion that you have probably asthma and allergic rhinosinusitis. COPD may be a possibility if you are an elderly person in sixties or seventies. I advise you to go for a simple breathing test called spirometry with reversibility testing to get the diagnosis of COPD or to get an idea of asthma. Smoking makes any disease worse and its cessation is always beneficial. You may try nicotine gums and have a quitting willingness. At this sort inhale bronchodilator and steroid combination along with antibiotics for sinusitis will help. Ask your doctor for spirometry.....
