Took A Break From Taking Pills, Semen Found On Vagina. Any Chances Of Getting Pregnant?
I got my period on Friday and was due to go back on the pill yesterday (I had decided to take a break from it for a couple months so I didn't take it), while I didn't have full on sex there was semen near my vagina, I'm just wondering what are my chances of getting pregnant or should I get the morning after pill to be safe? Thanks
Hi, From history it seems that you had sex during non fertile period, risk of having pregnancy is less. As there was semen near vagina chance of few sperms are likely to enter into vaginal canal. If 36-48 hours are not passed after sex it is better to take emergency contraceptive pill to avoid risk of having pregnancy. Ok and take care.
