Took Antibiotics For Swollen Hard Mass Between Right Thigh And Scrotum, Constantly Bleeds After Rupture. What To Do ?

My --husband went to immediate care on sunday with hard mass between his right thigh and scrotum it it was very swollen and red size of a 1/2 avacado....they gave him antobiodics and pain med. said it was a staff infection....that night the mass ruptured and it was pink liquid...2 days later it rupture majorly with red blood and is constantly bleeds and the mass is not any smaller ....very painful. also has pain in lower right groin area. ibuprofen helps more with the pain...should there have been a blood draw done??

Hi,
It seems there might be formation of abscess and now burst open.
Go for regular dressing by doctor only so that proper slough can be removed.
Continue with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
