Took Cytotect, Bleed, Pregnant, Tummy Growing Bigger. How Long Will The P.t Usually Go Negative After Abortion?
I would like to ask on behalf of my friend. SHe took cytotect and bleed for about 7 days. She saw something came out of her like an embryo .she was 4weeks pregnant. How long will the p.t usually go negative after abortion? She told me that she still feels like her tummy is getting bigger. But all the signs of pregnancy are gone.

Medical abortion takes time up to 7 days to resolve completely. However, incomplete abortion or retained bits may take more time to resolve and she may get occasional bleeding or discharge.
Pregnancy test will be negative within 4 weeks in most cases. Here, I suggest her to undergo one ultrasound scan to confirm that the abortion procedure is completed and there is no retained tissue.
After that, she must consult with gynecologist for next line management. Till then maintain genital hygiene. Good luck.
