Took Depo Shot. Period Was Light And Dark Brown. Should I Be Worried?
Hello, I hope this is a safe sight for me to talk about personal issues. But I am rather desperate for answers. Anyways, I got my first depo shot on July 8th this year and I got my period mid August and it hasn't stopped ever since. At first it was light and dark brown. I was due for my next shot in October but I refused to go cause I hated the side effects depo was giving me. My period still hasn't stopped and now its medium flow and light red not dark brown anymore. Is this a sign that my period is regulating itself and that my period should end soon? Which I'm hoping.
Hi, Welcome to HCM. First I would like to assure you that this is a safe sight for you to talk about personal issues. Coming to your question, it might be a sign that your period is regulating itself and that it should end soon. But better option is to get an ultrasound done & if endometrium is too thin (which is likely to be thin), start some medicines to end it in consultation with your gynecologist. It will end your sufferings quickly. Also find some other means for contraception in consultation with your gynecologist. Wish you good health. Regards.
