Took Emergency Contraception After Unprotected Sex, Started Bleeding, Cramping, Again Had Sex And Pill. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Good afternoon, On April 29 I took emergency contraception after unprotected sex, and started bleeding 6 days later along with cramping. Assuming my period had started on a Sunday I started my birth control (trinessa) and continued taking pills as directed. I had unprotected sex again on my 4th pill day, and Oddly enough, im afraid my bleeding was mistaken for spotting as the EC side effects stated. Should I take another plan b pill or am I ok to continue my birth control pills?

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I also believe that you are excessively concerned about becoming pregnant and are taking extra precaution. It may also help to have safe sex if your partner is not using condoms, to insist that he wear them since it will help prevent sexually transmitted diseases. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
