Took Missed Pills Along With Emergency Contraceptive After Unprotected Sex. Cramps, Discharge. Normal Symptoms?
I am wondering if the symptoms I am experiencing are due to the amount of medicine I took and if I could be pregnant? Taking my pill Monday( beginning of week 3) I noticed that I missed Saturday and Sundays pills. Panicking I took all 3 because I had unprotected sex (he did not ejaculate) on Sunday. I also took Next Choice Emergency contraceptive. I have been experiencing cramps, discharge, feeling like I need to have a bowel movement. I am currently on my Sugar Pills, I usually get my period on the 4 day of pills. Are these normal symptoms? Could I be pregnant? This whole incident has been causing a lot of anxiety
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The emergency pill is already a high dose hormonal pill and you combined it with the missed pills. This is likely to cause the symptoms that you are having and a withdrawal bleeding. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
