Took Missed Pills Of Birth Control Next Day. Having Inconsistent Brown Discharge. Due To Missed Pills?

Hi, I am 19 years old and missed two days of pills during the first week of my birth control pack. I took two pills each day for the next two days to make up for them. I am now in my second week and have been experienced brown discharge or bleeding the past couple days. It is inconsistent and I have no other side effects. Is this due to my missed pills?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Missing the pills for two consecutive days can cause a withdrawal bleeding and the brownish discharge like you are having. This will gradually subside on its own. Be sure not to miss pills in future.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
