Took Sereophene To Help In Conceiving But Experiencing Cramps, Swollen Breast And Frequent Urination. Can I Be Pregnant?
I was diagnosed with PCOS for lack of a regular menstrual cycle . I maybe get 3 per year . My husband and I went to a fertility specialist to see about how to start our family after a year of no success on our own . I am currently on my first round of sereophene ( clomid ) . I have been experiencing back cramps , mild stomach cramps , swollen and sore breasts , and frequent urination . I took one at home pregnancy test but it was negative . My next expected period is January 27th .. Could I be pregnant ?
Hello. Clomifene 9 sereophene) is used in anovulatory infertility. The most common side effects of clomifene are bloating , blurred vision, breast discomfort, hot flushes, multiple or ectopic pregnancy. As you mentioned that your expected date of menses is 27th January , so at this stage home pregnancy test is irrelevant ( no use ) . However all these symptoms mentioned by you may be due to pregnancy. If you are very eager then get hcg blood test for pregnancy confirmation. Otherwise wait for 7 days after expected date of menses. Remain in contact with your doctor. Good luck.
