Trauma To Abdomen Bruising The Ovaries Due To Accident. Laceration To Lower Abdomen. Concerns With Fertility?

Hi, I was in a car accident a few months ago which caused trauma to my abdomen bruising my organs and my ovaries I was told. I also had a laceration to my lower abdomen right below the hairline that barely missed rupturing my bladder. Will any of this mess with my fertility? I am only 18 now but I am wondering about the future.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities.

Well if your ovaries damaged the first thing to check is whether or not your period is regular or not. This can be checked by monitoring how regular your cycle is. YOu can also have a voluntary ultrasound done to have your uterus and fallopian tubes checked. If these tests come back normal, you shouldnt have any problems in conceiving.

I hope this helped.
