I am glad that you are enquiring about your problem. By your description it looks like a lymph node in the neck, which could be enlarged due to the infection which your are suffering from. It is advisable that you visit your doctor and have your infection treated with antibiotics. Hopefully the gland should resolve after that. If it still persists, you should visit your oncologist and have him check it out. He might advise an FNAC (needle test) if it persists, to rule out cancer.
Also it is advisable that you regularly visit your oncologist for your follow-up visits.
I hope I have answered all your queries.
