Treatment For 29 Male,fever,fatigues,ache,little Cough,all Tests Normal,on Antibiotic.
My son is 29 and he has been running a fever and feeling tired, achy, and a little cough since December 5th, he has been to a doctor and has had chest xray, blood work, a flu test, and test that has been done on his liver and kidneys, everything came back okay. His white cells are normal, they gave him antibiotics for 10 days and if he does not feel any better in 10 days to come back, he has been taking the pills for 2 days, I just talk with him tonight and he said his fever is 100.8. It has got up to 103.8, he takes fever medicine and it brings it down until the medicine goes out of his system and then his fever raises again.

Since your son having cough with fever from last 20 days , this is a causes of concern .
As you mentioned that blood work and chest X ray is normal but all these tests were of initial stage , that's why were normal .
In my opinion fever may be due to .
1 Tuberculosis , diagnosis can be confirmed by Montox'e test , blood for E SR , C B C , x RAY CHEST .
2 Typhoid fever is another most common cause. Diagnosis can be confirmed by Widal test with serology test ( latest ).
3 JAUNDICE , this is the most common cause of prolong fever . Diagnosis can be confirmed by serum blirubin examination . Also get in blood for Hepatitis, A B , C E .
In my opinion consult another physician and get his opinion and treatment as mentioned .
