Treatment For Heartburn, Thrush, Dryness At Back Of Throat?
Hi.
Ive had a feeling of constant hearburn for about a month and thrush for 3 weeks. And today I feel really dry at the back of my throat, like Ive been breathing with my mouth open, but Im not.
Ive had several cups of water and the dryness feels almost like it is getting worse, not better but the heartburn has dropped off a bit.
Yes sir its better you consult a doctor. Detailed examination may be needed. I suggest you to check your sugar level also. Because dryness of throat and oral thrush are commonly seen in diabetic patients. But nothing to worry it will settle down.
Hi! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
Yes ! As you have got the problem for last 3 weeks, I feel that it is time you should see a doctor for a physical examination and investigations if advised to have a proper management. In the mean while, you can go for an anti septic mouth wash/gargles and a proton pump inhibitor along with a probiotic.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
