Treatment For Painful And Bleeding Ear

I have a tapping in my right ear that sounds like morse code. Just started a week ago. Driving me crazy. Have had an earache and been sensitive to air and used cotton to shield from wind and cold and then one day noticed it bleeding. The doc looked at it (several weeks after) and did not see anything suspect and wanted me to have physical therapy but that was before the tapping started.

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Is the sound continuous? If so then it is better to get the ear examined and get a hearing test done. In the meantime, do not clean you ear and apply cotton only when taking a shower to keep the ear dry, rest of the time let it aerate.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
