Treatment For Red Rash Above Swollen Foot And Ankle?
Hi my partner has had a swollen foot, ankle and lower leg for a few days now we have been doing ice packs resting with it slightly elevated and it seems to be getting worse. I have noticed that above his ankle he has a red blotchy type rash but it also appears to be a bruise

may i know does he have diabetes ? after going through your description it seems he is having cellulitis and needs good medical care that includes antibiotics like amoxycillin and sumeg dressing and offcourse rest ,limb elevation.pain killer like ibuprofen also.
