Treatment For Swollen And Lumpy Tonsils But No White Spots?

I was diagnosed with mononucleosis two weeks ago. The full week prior to my diagnostic, I had been experiencing some of the same symptoms but less intense. After my diagnostic, I was out on bed rest for two weeks. After those two weeks; the fever, the white spots on my tonsils, and the extreme sore throat had gone. Now, I have currently been attempting to return to my normal lifestyle. Earlier in the week, I did a little Spring Cleaning and became extremely sick and tired after a few minutes. I felt extremely dizzy; so dizzy that I could not stand up. The lymph node in my left groin area swelled intensely and the pain made it hard for me to walk. I also had an really bad headache. Two days ago, I went for a walk and jog. I suppose that was a bad idea because it really tired me out and later that day I had really intense pain in my lower back that radiated to my sides. I also had an extremely sharp pain on the left side of my neck, right below the ear where that lymph node is and I felt it and compared it to my other lymph node on the other side of my neck and it was very swollen and painful to touch. Currently, my sore throat is coming back but it is more at the roof of my mouth now and my tonsils are still swollen (they never went down since the start of this) and they appear lumpy. The lymph node in my groin area remains swollen. My main concerns are: Why are my tonsils still swollen and lumpy but have no white spots?; Why did I experience the intense lower back pain that radiated to my sides?; and Why am I still extremely tired all the time?

Hello dear,
After going through your history, I believe you have some genuine concern and I will try to help you out of this situation.

Infectious mononucleosis is an documented indication to undergo tonsillectomy. The symptoms of sore throat will recur again and again in your condition if treated partially. so I would advise you to undergo tonsillectomy. but first let the symptoms of sore throat subside with medications.

I hope I could solve your query. Please do not hesitate to clarify more doubts for the same situation.

Thank you for the way you are in my life.
