Trying To Conceive. Have Under-active Thyroid. Irregular Period. Taking Levaxin. Help?
I have an underactive thyroid and I have been trying to get pregnant with my husband. I m taking levaxin daily and take blood tests regularly to make sure I m taking the right amount. But now I m 8 days late for my period yet the test didn t say I m pregnant. Is it because of the thyroid that I m late and have irregular periods?

Underactive thyroid can cause irregular periods and problem with conceiving, provided if not treated. In your case as you are in adequate treatment and follow-up, i dont feel thyroid should cause any problem.
