Trying To Conceive. Taking Nacifil. Done Blood Test, HSG Test. What Is Going On?
Hello Doctor, This s Viji and i am 31yrs old. we are trying to conceive for past 1 and half yrs. From October onwards i am consulting my doctor. I had my blood test and last month an HSG test. So far my side and my husband side all are positive. This month my doctor advised me to take ovacare tablet and Nacfil forte 5g sachet and planned to have the scan test on next month to check my ovulation . My periods are regular 28 or sometimes 30 days.
Hello
Thank you for your query.
You need to attach all the reports done so far, if you want me to provide the best possible assistance to you.
Otherwise you seem to be on the right track.
YOur complete hormonal profile should be conducted.
Patency of fallopian tubes is assessed by HSG, but laparoscopy is always a much better and more preferable option to HSG.
Also ovulation would be studied by follicular monitoring in your next cycle.
Your partner's semen analysis should be done.
If all the reports are normal, and you do not conceive within 3 months more of trying naturally alongwith follicular monitoring of ovulation, you can consider IUI ( intra uterine insemination ) after a diagnostic laparoscopy to increase your chances of conception.
Stay positive, maintain a healthy BMI, and take regular folic acid supplements.
take care.
