Trying To Conceive, Removed Implanon. Sore Breasts Before Periods. Explain

hey there doctor grief. Im a 28 year old female and me and my husband want to have a baby but it is hard for us. we have been trying for 2 years after getting my implanon taken out. Does the implanon have anything to do with us trying to conceive? And since having it taken out my breast get real sore before my period comes on and that has never happened before untill i took out the implanon. Can u help me and explain why all the changes?

Hi,

Implanon causes hormonal imbalance after it is being removed. This may last for few months and do not pose any risk to fertility. The breast tenderness could be side effect of hormonal imbalance but not a direct effect of Implanon.
