Trying To Have Baby, Fanconi Anemia. Chemotherapy And Radiotherapy Done Previously. Clomid Prescribed. Advise?
hi i am very stressed me and my wife are trying for a baby but i have had fanconi anemia but have had chemotherapy and radiotherapy. i have been to the hospitals but they have advised there is nothing i can do. Please could you advise me what is the best way. i have been told to take clomid but not sure if this will work.
I understand your concerns and that you have been stressed. I think you might need to consult a psychiatrist yourself for the anxiety related issues as this can itself cause you to have problems in your sex life. I also believe that you should trust your doctor who has prescribed the medication for fertility and see if you both can conceive a baby together with this medication. There is evidence that clomiphene works in many cases. If things do not seem to improve you may always go for IVF treatment which is a sure way of having a baby together. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
