Tubes Are Tied. Having Perimenopause Symptoms Like Mood Swings, Fatigue And Hot Flashes. Reason?

Tubes Tied almost 5 years ago. 27 years old. My periods for the past 2 months have been considerably lighter than before. The same lightness as when I was pregnant with my son (I had a light period until I was 4 or 5 months pregnant with him). I have almost all the symptoms of perimenopause symptoms. I know their is a 1.8% chance of pregnancy which means a 98.2% of not being pregnant. My grandmother's uterus fell out around her late 20s (she had an emergency hysterectomy) I have had ovarian cysts in the past with bad cramping but I am not getting any cramping for the past 2 months. Are all the mood swings, fatigue, hot/cold flashes a sign of perimenopause or can there be other health problems I should be concerned about.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
I would come up with these possibilities for these symptoms , these includes.
1 Hormonal imbalance , diagnosis can be confirmed by estimation of estrogen, androgen FSH/LH ratio. As sometimes depletion of estrogen ( estradiol ) develops mood swings , hot flushes , cramps.
2 Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease (pcod ) , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of both ovaries as these symptoms are also developed by PCOD.
3 Tension , one of the most important reason of such type of symptoms.
In my opinion consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
Good luck. Dr. HET
