Hello dear, The symptoms are indicative of Middle ear infection/Serous otitis media. There is a connecting tract (known as Eustachian tube) between the middle ear & nasopharynx. And the sense of plugging in throat can be attributed to the spread of infection or serous fluid from middle ear through this Eustachian tube. So, kindly visit an ENT specialist for proper drainage of the infective fluid to prevent further spread.
