Twitching In Bottom Inner Corner Of Eye, Pain In Temple. Sleeps Late Night. Strained Eyes?
Hi, I am a teen. I am currently in middle school. I go to school everyday and often stay up late at night. Since the beginning of this school year of 2013 I have this problem. The bottom inner corner of my eye lid twitches. Right now, it is twitching, every time I blink. Today I have also began feeling this little pain on my temple. I have a school computer too. Are my eyes strained? Is there something wrong with me?
It is important to know if this is the first time you are experiencing this or not. Excessive straining of the eyes with continuous and excessive exposure to a large emitter of ultravoilet light like the computer screen can of curse affect your eyes. This can be true, in your case, especially if you have never had any eye problems before.
I strongly suggest abstaining from the screen for a couple of days. Special screen and screen shades do exist today that decrease the amount of UV light getting you eyes. This could be a starting point. If symptoms persist after all these measures, you might have to seek the opinion of an eye specialist/ opthalmologist. Thanks and kind regards.
This may be due to stress, straining of the eye in front of the computer for long hours and lack of adequate sleep. After every one hours use of the computer take 5 mins break and give rest to the eye by closing the eye. Consult your doctor if it still persist.
