Two And Half Month Baby Passing Motion 4 0r 5 Times. What Could Be The Reason For It ?
Hi, My baby is 2 and half month old and he was passing motion 4 0r 5 times. We have consulted doc he suggested colisten sulphate for oral suspension. we have used 3 times still motion is not control. Can any one help me what could be the reason for it ?

hi,Jyotsna thanks for query.Please understand that any breast feeing child normally passes stool 5-6 times in a day.You only treat it when you are suspecting some infection,please look for watery stools,fever,not taking feeds properly,not passing urine in sufficient quantity.This are the situation in which treatment is needed.Other wise this frequeny is normal.

Common causes in this age is Fore-milk diarrhoea .Learn proper breast feeding method and if condition persisting then look for any Intollerence by our PD.
