Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Two days ago our area had a bad ice storm. My car slid into a ditch . All tow services were busy so I attempted to walk the half mile toward home. I live in a rural area and the road was too slick to walk on so I attempted to walk through the grass at the side of the road. I could not see the uneven ground and stepped in a hole. I heard a snap from my foot and a sharp pain in my right foot. I am not sure if I had a tendon snap or a break. There is no redness, swelling on inner side of my foot and on top of my foot between my great toe and my second toe. Without an X-ray is there any way to determine if there is a break. My main concern is doing something to damage it further till I can see my dr. Any suggestions?
