Two Years Ago I Had My Fallopian Tube Removed Due

Two years ago I had my fallopian tube removed due to a tubal pregnancy. I was told only my fallopian tube was being removed. I have had complications since then. Just recently I found out that my medical record says my tube and ovary were removed and that I had a btl. I asked before and after about my chances of getting pregnant again and was told because I only had one tube removed and my ovaries still in tact that I could still get pregnant with one tube, it would just be more difficult and risky but possible. Is it normal for the tube and ovary on one side to be removed and is there a reason my record would state that I had a btl or is it possible that I was medically violated?
