Type 2, 10 Years. Novolog/Lantus. Hypertension-HyperAldo/medications. Strange Bumps Developed. Painful. Treatment?
Type 2, 10 years. Novolog/Lantus. Hypertension-HyperAldo/medications. Otherwise, OK. Maybe 6-8 months ago some strange bumps/sore developed on my upper arms, legs, even behind my knees. Small bump, red at first and they are painful. I have tried to see if they were caused by a bug/stinger. It doesn't seem to be the cause. When they flare up( if I scratch), very sore. I have had other sores when sugars run high (A1c) with a different look; more of an infection. These small bumps are persistent. I was thinking to see a dermatologist when I ran across this site. THanks for any advice.

u may be suffering from pyoderma infection of skin u should have tight sugar control that is fasting between 90 to 130 , post prondial between 130 to 180 and a1c <7 . u can start T ab Taxim o 200 mg 2 times daily for 5 days . give hot fomentation for the lesions
