Typhoid Fever. Given Cefiximin Tab And Amikacin Inj. Widal Test Done. Surgery For Pituitary Tumour Has Been Done. Suggestion?

I am suffering from typhoid fever since last 20 days.Now I am on antibiotics treatment. the fever will be till 100/101/102 .and sometimes vomiting. i had operation pituitary gland tumor before 2 months.Are these fluctuations normal in typhoid?How many days will the fever last?I am not eating well.The doctor has given Cefixime 400 mg caps twice daily 5 days, . and Amikacin inj -500 mg IV,twice daily 5 days.The fever goes if i take paracetamol.. My widal test result - To 1:80, TH 1:320, AH 1:80, BH 1:80

Hi,
If typhoid is diagnosed, after a week treatment for typhoid, fever becomes complete normal.
You can take your normal diet after 10 days.
If fever is persisted for 20 days after treatment, your case is to evaluated with other investigations.
