Typhoid is an infection from bacteria, usually affecting the gut and causing enteritis (gut inflamation). I am wondering that your test results are negative and still being treated for typhoid for 2 months.

Usual course of antibiotic treatment for Typhoid is 10-14 days.

From Medical point of view, there is no harm in taking bath in typhoid.

Other precautions:
1. Soft diet
2. Hand washing before eating
3. Hand washing after going to toilet

If the symptoms and fever have been persisting for this long duration, it is advisable to see a Physician doctor.

Hope things get sorted out soon.
