Ulcer Inside Right Eyelid, Larger Pupil, Slow Response To Light. Treatment?
Yesterday I developed an ulcer on the inside of my right eyelid. It seems to be getting smaller and I have less pain, however I just noticed that the pupil is larger than the left pupil. It does not respond to light as quickly as it should. My medications are lisinopril, 10mg and vicodin, 5-500. My vision is not affected at this time. Should I be concerned?
HI Thank for asking to HCM No do not worry, I would advise you to see the ophthalmologist and do not take any chance in eye problem, as long as the pupilary reaction time is concern it is all depend upon that for what you doing this test, again the physician can only perform this you can not do that, and never try to to this, have nice day
Hello, Ulcer in the right eye lid may be because of local inflammatory conditions like hordeolum affecting one of the glands of the eyelids. This can be treated by local antibiotic eye ointment along with oral antiinflammatory drugs. Regarding pupil size since vision is normal no need to worry about the slight difference in size of pupil.
Thank you
